In this section, we will show you how to automate a LinkedIn connection request via your prospecting sequences. Integrating LinkedIn connection requests, whether or not they are accompanied by a personalized message, can significantly improve the effectiveness of your prospecting. Follow the steps below to learn how to do this.

## Step 1: Synchronize your LinkedIn account

The first step is to synchronize your LinkedIn account with the tool you use to manage your sequences. Here is how to proceed:

1.  Log in to your LinkedIn account.
    
2.  Open the Connect extension (if you have not already installed it, you can find instructions on how to install it [here](https://help.sarbacane.com/suite/prospection/parametres-engage/installer-sarbacane-connect/)).
    
3.  Click on the LinkedIn tab, then on Update my LinkedIn integration.
    

You should receive a confirmation message indicating that the connection between LinkedIn and Connect has been successfully established.

## Step 2: Integrate LinkedIn connection requests into your sequences

Once your LinkedIn account has been synchronized, you can integrate connection requests into your sequences. Here is how to proceed:

1.  Access your Sequences page via the left sidebar of your interface.
    
2.  Select an existing sequence that you wish to use, or create a new one by following the steps described [here](https://help.sarbacane.com/suite/prospection/sequences-prospection/creer-editer-sequence-prospection/).
    
3.  From the My sequence tab, choose the sequence step to which you wish to add a LinkedIn connection request.
    
4.  Click on LinkedIn, then select the Connect invitation option. By configuring this step in this way, your prospects will receive a LinkedIn invitation without a personalized message.
    

If you prefer to include a personalized message with your LinkedIn connection request, you can do so by inserting a message in the LinkedIn invitation step, then clicking on Save the sequence.

This approach will enable you to optimize your prospecting and efficiently grow your network on LinkedIn.
