# How do I add a link to an SMS campaign in Sarbacane?

Insert a tracked link to your website, a form, or a landing page, and choose the domain that shortens your link.

In Sarbacane Campaigns, add a link to your SMS with **Insert a link**: Sarbacane shortens and tracks it so you know who clicked. Allow four steps and a few minutes.

## Prerequisites

-   A Sarbacane Campaigns license.
    
-   An SMS campaign in progress, at the **Message** step.
    
-   The address of the page you want to direct recipients to, or an already created Sarbacane form or landing page.
    

## Steps

1.  À l'étape **Message**, dans la barre d'outils au-dessus du message, sur l'aperçu en forme de téléphone, cliquez sur l'icône en forme de maillon (**Insérer un lien**).
    
2.  Choisissez la destination du lien :
    
    -   une page web externe : saisissez son URL ;
        
    -   un formulaire ou une landing page Sarbacane : sélectionnez-le parmi ceux qui s'affichent.
        
3.  Facultatif : à droite de la barre d'outils, ouvrez le menu « ••• », puis **Domaine des URL**, et choisissez le domaine qui raccourcira votre lien.
    
4.  À l'étape **Vérification**, cliquez sur **Envoyer un test**, puis ouvrez le lien depuis votre téléphone.
    

**Note** : chaque destinataire reçoit un lien différent. C'est normal : c'est ce qui permet de savoir qui a cliqué.

**Bonne pratique** : utilisez **Insérer un lien** plutôt qu'un lien raccourci par un service externe. Ces liens sont souvent filtrés par les opérateurs.

## Résultat attendu

Your SMS contains a short link that leads to your page, and clicks appear in the campaign statistics.

## Troubleshooting

### The link in my SMS leads to an error page

Check the following, in order:

1.  **The landing page**: _make sure it is still online (for example, a flash sale page is no longer available once the sale has ended)._
    
2.  **The URL domain**: _in the “•••” menu, open_ **_URL domain_**_, choose another domain, then send a test._
    
3.  _If the link still doesn't work, contact customer support and provide the campaign name._
    

### The link doesn't work for only some recipients

_On some phones, particularly iPhones, if the link ends with a hyphen, the hyphen isn't included in the clickable part, so the link opens an error page. The link itself is correct. Your recipient can copy the entire link, including the hyphen, into their browser._
