# How do I set up a webhook in Sarbacane Campaigns?

Automatically receive your campaigns' clicks, opens, unsubscribes and bounces in your application (CRM, website…).

In Sarbacane Campaigns, a webhook automatically and instantly notifies your application or website when an event occurs on one of your campaigns. For example, you are notified of a click on a link so that the information is sent to your CRM. Sarbacane sends each event to your URL in JSON format. This feature is intended for developers and integrators.

## Prerequisites

- A Sarbacane Campaigns Premium subscription or higher.

- Be the account owner or an administrator, or a user with this right in **Authorizations**.

- An https URL of your application that can receive the notifications.

## Steps

1. In the left menu of Sarbacane Campaigns, click Settings.

2. In the settings menu, click **API & webhooks**, then open the **Webhooks** tab.

3. Check that the **Webhooks are active** switch is on.

4. On the **Add a Webhook** line, click **Create**.

5. In the **Create your webhook** window, fill in **Name** and **URL where you want to receive notifications**.

6. Tick the events you want: **Status** (**hard bounce email**, **soft bounce email**, **Email sent**, **Protected email**), **Behaviors** (**Click**, **Opening**, **Unsubscribe**, **Complaint**) or **Form** (**New response submitted to the form**).

7. At the bottom of the window, click **Save**.

**Note**: **Protected email** refers to emails held by an auto-responder, which asks the sender to authenticate before the message is delivered (Altospam, Mail in black…). **Email sent** corresponds to emails delivered to the recipient.

To edit or delete a webhook: **•••** menu of the webhook, **Edit** or **Remove**. The notification format is described in **Webhooks documentation** (**Webhooks** tab).

## Expected result

The webhook appears in the list with its name and URL. Your application receives a notification for each ticked event.

## Troubleshooting

### An error message appears when I create the webhook

Check that the URL is complete and starts with https://, and that your application is online and reachable.

### My application does not receive any notifications

Check that **Webhooks are active** is on, that the right events are ticked and that the URL responds.

### I can't find API & webhooks

This feature is reserved for Premium subscriptions and higher.
