How Does Two-Factor Authentication Work?

This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software: Sarbacane Suite. If you are a user of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, you can find here the help center related to this version of the software. The update of your account to switch to Sarbacane Suite will be proposed to you shortly by our teams.

The process is simple:

1. For each login attempt, an additional login interface appears

2. On this interface, entering a code is required.

3. An email is sent to the user attempting to log in, containing the code.

4. Entering this code grants access to the user space under normal usage and browsing conditions.

Good to know:

  • Two-factor authentication is not enabled by default.
  • The account administrator can enable two-factor authentication for all users.
  • Users can choose to enable two-factor authentication independently of the account administrator's decision, but they cannot disable it if the administrator enforces it.
  • If the account administrator decides to disable two-factor authentication for all users, users who wish to keep this setting active must manually enable it.
