Predictive Eye Tracking, or oculometry in French, is an intelligent feature of Sarbacane Campaigns that makes it possible to track individuals' eye movements when they review an email campaign. This approach simulates human vision, thereby offering the possibility of measuring the visual impact of your email even before sending it to your recipients. This feature enables you to optimize the rendering of your message, thereby increasing the overall performance of your campaign.
Heat map analysis is based on eye tracking, providing a color gradient to indicate the most attractive areas of your email. The areas range from green to red, respectively representing low to high levels of attention. This analysis predicts the sections that are likely to be hovered over by your recipients.

This diagram shows the likely trajectory of your recipients' gaze, consisting of saccades and fixations. Each fixation point is identified by a numbered circle, simulating the first few seconds of the gaze trajectory.

Based on fixation duration, this report simulates what your recipients will perceive in the first few seconds after opening the email. The more transparent areas attract greater attention, while the more opaque areas are likely to be skimmed over.

This overall analysis assigns an aesthetic score (from 0 to 100) by evaluating the color, clarity, and balance of your creation. The scores provide indications of the visual appeal of your email.

To start the Eye Tracking test, follow these steps:
Go to the campaign you wish to analyze
go to the testing step of your campaign
Press the Start test button in the Eye Tracking panel at the bottom right of the screen.

After the test, consult the 4 analysis reports (heat zones, eye movements, opacity report, aesthetic analysis) by clicking on the corresponding images.

Important: Please note that the test does not update automatically; you must run it again to see the new results after making changes to your campaign.
