Hello everyone!
If you have a domain name, it must be registered in order to optimize the deliverability of your communications.
Using a domain name is like being able to present a valid ID card during an inspection: it inspires confidence! And spam filters need that confidence to route your campaigns, particularly if the number of recipients is significant.
Linking your domain name is like signing your communications, and as a bonus, it helps combat identity theft.
From your home page, go to the Campaigns application and then to your account settings.
In “Domains”, click on “Add a domain name” and then choose “Existing domain”.
First, type the address of your subdomain. Usually, the prefix is “mail”, “info”, “news” or even “office”, and then check its availability.
Next, a sequence of characters is generated. Copy it, then paste it into the area provided by your domain provider. Do the same for the DNS records made available on the next screen.
It may take up to 48 hours for the record to be fully propagated.
Do not forget that for effective deliverability, a warm-up period of a few days should be planned, particularly if your domain name has just been created.
For example, it would be pointless and risky to send messages to 50,000 recipients immediately. A gradual approach is strongly recommended.
To monitor the reputation of your domain, Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft provide tools that you can easily find via your search engine.
