How do I send a welcome message to a new contact on my list?
You can automate the sending of a welcome message (email or SMS) as soon as a contact joins an audience, thanks to an automated campaign in Sarbacane Campaigns.
This automation avoids personalizing each contact manually, while giving the recipient time to discover your world at their own pace.
Prerequisites: a contact list already imported into Sarbacane Contacts, and an audience defined from this list.
In Sarbacane Campaigns, click on New campaign from the home page, then choose Automated campaign.
Select the welcome trigger (adding a contact to an audience), then choose the relevant audience.
Click on Add an action, then on Add a message.
Name the message, choose Email or SMS, and set the delay before sending.
Design the message with the email builder, an external HTML file, or a simple text message.
Expected result
Once configured, each new contact added to the audience automatically receives the message after the chosen delay.
Once the message is sent, you can add contacts to a list to identify those who have read it, or follow up with another email or SMS message based on their behavior.
