To have everyone who fills in your form added directly to a Sarbacane Contacts list, choose that list in the Replies step when you create the form in Sarbacane Forms. Five steps, and no more imports to do afterwards.
Access to Sarbacane Forms and Sarbacane Contacts.
To use an existing list, it must already exist in Sarbacane Contacts. Otherwise, the form can create one.
In the left menu of Sarbacane Forms, click the + icon, then New form.
In the submenu that opens on the right, choose Dedicated page form or Pop-up form.
In the Templates step, click a template, or the first thumbnail to start from scratch. The Replies step opens.
Under "Where should the answers be recorded?", select In an existing list, then choose your list in Select list. To create a list at the same time, select In a new list instead and give it a name.
Best practice: in the same step, turn on Activate the confirmation request (double optin). Each new contact then confirms their email address before being taken into account.
At the top right, click Next to go through the Form and Success message steps, then publish the form at the end.
Each form response adds the contact to the chosen list. If the email address already exists in the list, the contact is updated with the new information.
To see the forms linked to a list: in the left menu of Sarbacane Contacts, open Contact lists, click ••• in the list's Actions column, then Manage forms.
Note: once the form is online, you can publish or unpublish it at any time with the toggle under its thumbnail, in My forms.
No form is linked to this list. Link one by following the steps above.
When the email address already exists in the list, the contact is updated instead of being added a second time.
A form is linked to a list from Sarbacane Forms, in the Replies step (step 4 above).
First check that the form is published (toggle on in My forms), then that the form appears in Manage forms for this list. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
