To stop writing to certain contacts, create an opt-out list in Sarbacane Contacts, add their addresses to it, then link it to your Sarbacane Campaigns campaigns. If you change nothing, your campaigns use the default opt-out list.
Access to Sarbacane Contacts and Sarbacane Campaigns.
In the left menu of Sarbacane Contacts, open Contact lists, then at the top right click Create a list.
Choose Opt-out list, then click Select.
Add the contacts: Import a file (.xlsx, .txt, .csv), Manual entry or Copy / Paste.
In Contact lists, open the Lists of unsubscribed tab and click the list.
To add contacts: at the top left, next to the list name, click •••, then Add unsubscribers.
To exclude every address of a domain name: open the domains tab, then ••• › Blacklist domains.
To remove a contact: click its row to select it (Ctrl + click to add others), then ••• › Delete.
In Sarbacane Campaigns, in the Recipients step (once recipients are added), click ••• at the top right, then Unsubscribe list(s). You can also go through the Message step, in Advanced settings.
In the Opt-out lists window, click Add a blacklist and choose your list. Repeat to link several.
At the bottom of the window, click the green check mark to confirm.
Important: a duplicated campaign keeps the opt-out lists of the original campaign. Check them after each duplication.
Before sending, contacts in the linked lists are set aside: they appear in the Unsubscribers tab of the Recipients step. Each recipient who unsubscribes from this campaign is automatically added to these same lists.
Check in this order: the list containing them is linked to the campaign (Unsubscribe list(s)); the campaign was not duplicated from a campaign linked to other lists; the address in the list is exactly the same as the recipient's.
The campaign has no recipients yet. Add some, or go through the Message step, in Advanced settings.
