The DPO (Data Protection Officer) is an evolution of the Data Processing and Liberties Correspondent (CIL).
At Sarbacane, the DPO is responsible for:
Awareness and information: our DPO is responsible for informing and raising awareness among our internal team about the Data Processing and Liberties culture, thereby ensuring that everyone understands and complies with data protection principles
Legal compliance: ensuring compliance with the legal framework of the European Regulation and the French Data Protection Act
Mediation with clients: the DPO receives any complaints from clients and their campaign recipients and ensures that their rights are respected
Interaction with the CNIL: The DPO interacts with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés) to ensure that Sarbacane complies with regulatory requirements and to meet any declaration requirements, where applicable.
