Managing and maintaining an e-commerce activity via Magento (Adobe Commerce) presents several challenges:
Ensuring the updating of the customer database and thus avoiding it becoming obsolete
Synchronizing this data to strengthen customer knowledge throughout the year
Using this data to distribute promotional offers or event invitations.
A few application cases for inspiration
Registration of the database in Sarbacane Suite to distribute email and SMS communications.
Updating contact details and postal addresses.
Updating opt-in and opt-out choices to ensure compliance with the GDPR rules that apply to you.
Managing several stores without mixing databases.
Monitoring the behavior and engagement of your prospects and customers following the sending of communications.
Connecting Sarbacane Suite to Magento
Go to the Connectors section in Sarbacane Contacts
Click on the “Magento” block
Enter the requested information, finishing with the activation key, which is available after installing the Sarbacane module (add-on) on your Magento environment, available via this link.
Administration and automation possibilities offered by the connector
To import a list and allow it to be synchronized with Magento, go directly to the addition of a synchronized list page.
Updating the list linked to the store is then automatic; any change within Sarbacane Suite will be reflected in the Magento list and vice versa.
It is then possible to segment your list(s) via the page in Sarbacane Contacts dedicated to this purpose. After selecting a list, you can create targeting based on specific criteria corresponding to the columns in your table. By creating email or SMS campaigns within Sarbacane Campaigns you will then find the lists and targetings that you have organized.
Good to know: still within Campaigns, it is also possible to create automatic scenarios when creating a campaign.
These scenarios are triggered according to the trigger defined by you, among which:
Addition of a contact to a list
Date
Modification of an entry in your database, through an update or the first collection of the information (e.g.: birthday date, specific interest, response to a questionnaire, response to an invitation, etc.).
