In Sarbacane Contacts, you can export all or part of a list as a CSV file, duplicate a list, delete contacts or move a whole list to the trash. Each action takes less than a minute. Deleted contacts cannot be recovered, whereas a list moved to the trash can be restored for 30 days.
A Sarbacane Campaigns license (Sarbacane Contacts is included).
A standard list.
Open the list and click a contact's row. To add others, hold down the Ctrl key and click each row. The ••• menu then shows the number of selected contacts, for example 1 contact selected.
At the top left, next to the list name, click •••, then Export.
Choose Selection or All. The CSV file downloads automatically, with a semicolon as the separator.
In the left menu, open Contact lists.
On the list's row, in the Actions column, click •••, then Duplicate. The copy opens directly.
Next to the list name, click •••, then Delete, and choose Selection or All.
The Delete contacts window opens.
Caution: deleted contacts cannot be recovered. There is no trash for contacts. Export them first if you want to keep a record.
Click Yes.
In Contact lists, on the list's row, click •••, then Move to the trash.
In the Move to the trash window, click Move.
Export: the CSV file contains the list's columns.
Duplication: the copy appears in Contact lists under the name "[Copy 1]" followed by the list name.
Deleting contacts: the list counter goes down.
Deleting a list: the list is in the Trash, at the bottom of the left menu, for 30 days.
The exported "Email pixel tracking consent" column contains the word "email" and is not picked up at import. Rename it to pixel before reimporting (how do you import contacts).
Open the Trash, at the bottom of the left menu. On the list's row, click •••, then Restore. You can do this for 30 days after the deletion.
