Ban a user without deleting their account

This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software, Sarbacane Suite. Users of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, can find here the help center associated with that version of the software.

Administrators can ban one or more users to prevent their access to the account. This action immediately logs out the banned users and retains their data for future management. Administrators can also reauthorize these users if needed.


Steps to ban a user

Ban a single user
  1. Access the user's card
    • Go to the User Management section.
    • Expand the menu for the relevant user.
  2. Select the action
    • Click on Ban from the account on the dropdown menu.
  3. Confirm (or not) the action
    • Click on Ban or Cancel.

Ban multiple users
  1. Select relevant users
    • Check the boxes next to the users you wish to ban.
    • Click on Ban users at the top of the list.
  2. Confirm grouped action
    • Confirm the ban for all selected users.

Managing banned users

  1. Display in interface
    • Banned users appear below active users in a dedicated section entitled Banned user(s).
  2. Reauthorize a user
    • Click on the Reauthorize button in the banned user's profile card.
    • This action allows the user to log back into the account with their usual credentials.
