To send your campaigns with your own domain name, create a sending subdomain (for example news.your-site.com) in Sarbacane Campaigns, then add two types of records with your hosting provider. Allow about ten minutes to enter them, then up to 48 hours for validation.
You are the account owner or an administrator.
You own a domain name, for example the one of your website.
You have access to this domain's DNS zone at your hosting provider, or help from your IT department or webmaster. Sarbacane cannot add these records for you.
Your hosting provider accepts NS records on a subdomain (see Related articles).
The domain applies to your whole account: Sarbacane Campaigns, Sarbacane Pages and Sarbacane Forms.
In Sarbacane Campaigns, in the left sidebar, click the gear icon (Settings).
In the left menu, click Domains.
Above the list of domains, click Add a domain.

Under Existing domain, click Select. The Configuration of your domain by delegation window opens.

Important: add the records with your hosting provider within 48 hours of creating the subdomain. After that, the subdomain is not validated and you must delete it and create it again.
In Step 1: create a subdomain, enter the subdomain to use (for example news.your-site.com), then click Check.
In Step 2: add this TXT record at your provider., click the value to copy it. Add it with your hosting provider as a TXT record on the root of your domain (your-site.com), not on the subdomain.

Click Next.
In Step 3: add these NS records to the configuration of your domain, copy the two values. Add them with your hosting provider as NS records on the subdomain (news.your-site.com).
Note: the two NS values are always dns.customizedurl.com. and dns2.customizedurl.com. Enter them with the final dot, otherwise the delegation does not work.

Click Save.
Once the domain is active, at the top right of the Domains page, select it in the Default domain list to apply it to all your sends.

Note: the default domain is visible to and usable by all users of the account.
The subdomain appears in the list with the type Delegation and the state Awaiting validation... It changes to Activated once the records have propagated, usually within 48 hours.
Best practice: before your first large sends, increase your volumes gradually (see Warming up a sending domain or subdomain).
This subdomain already exists in your account. Check the list on the Domains page.
Follow the checks in the article Why does my subdomain remain in "Invalid" status?.
