The Sarbacane Engage Chrome Connect extension allows you to simplify the process of creating new contacts from the LinkedIn profiles of your prospects. Follow these steps to quickly add contacts to your list.
To create a contact from a LinkedIn profile:
Log in to LinkedIn and go to the prospect’s profile.
Open the Connect extension (see our guide on installing Connect) and log in.
In the Contact tab of Connect, select the New tab.
The following information will be generated automatically:
(1) First name
(2) Last name
(3) Company
(4) Domain
(5) Email
(6) Role
You have the option to manually modify this information if necessary, in particular to remove any noise (such as emojis or excessively long company names). The email address generation algorithm is based on the first name, last name, and company to create a professional email address.
The generated domains and email addresses are associated with a reliability percentage. A high percentage indicates a greater likelihood of validity. Under the generated domains and email addresses, other possible suggestions may be offered, but the automatic suggestions are those with the highest score and therefore the most reliable.
Select the list to which you wish to add the new contact from the List frame at the top.
You can enrich the contact information by clicking on the funnel-shaped icon at the top right of Connect. This action allows you to enter other native and custom variables that you may have created. Click on the funnel to access all the options and complete the details for the new contact.
Click on the blue Create contact button at the bottom to finalize the creation of the contact. A success message will confirm the creation of the contact in the selected list.
By selecting Create and engage, you can not only create the contact but also add it directly to a sequence. To learn more about this feature, please refer to our detailed guide.
If you are not on a LinkedIn profile, you can still create a contact by manually entering the information (First name, Last name, and Company). The algorithm will automatically generate the associated professional email address.
If your saved searches on LinkedIn Sales Navigator identify new prospects, you will receive a notification. You can then create them in Sarbacane Engage or add them to your sequences via the Connect extension.
