The integration of email address verification via BriteVerifiy in Sarbacane Engage provides you with the possibility of verifying the email addresses of your contacts, thereby helping to avoid sending emails to recipients with incorrect addresses. This integration not only promotes better deliverability, but also requires a subscription to BriteVerify in order to be used.
Activation of the integration:
To activate this integration, follow these steps:
Go to Settings via the sidebar
Go to the Data Desk tab, then to the Verification tab.
Click on the blue banner You must first connect your BriteVerify account to use this option.
Once the blue banner is selected, log in to your BriteVerify account and go to https://app.briteverify.com/account/api_keys.
Enable the Auto-Replenish option to obtain the API key. This will automatically adjust the payment according to your activity. Then copy the backend API key and paste it into the designated field, then click on Connect BriteVerify.
Activation of automatic verification:
In the Configuration tab, you have the option of enabling automatic verification of email addresses for all your new contacts.
Make sure that the toggle button is blue to enable verification.
Do not forget to save your settings to retain the desired configuration.
Verification history:
The History tab allows you to access the history of your various verifications.
Verification of existing contacts:
For contacts that were already present before the integration was activated, follow these steps to verify their email addresses:
Go to the Contacts page via the sidebar.
Select the contacts you wish to verify by ticking the corresponding checkboxes.
Click on the three small dots at the top right, then on Enrichir avec Data Desk.
In the message that appears, enable the toggle button Vérifier les emails avec BriteVerify, then click Validate.
Use of filters for verified contacts:
After setting up the integration, use our filters to identify your contacts verified with BriteVerify. Follow these steps:
Go to your Contacts page.
Click Create a filter.
A window opens on the right. Name your filter and select email verification, then Is, and finally Valid. Save the filter.
