Sarbacane Engage allows you to keep your contact information up to date and to make changes when necessary. Whether from a contact’s record or from your received responses, this tool simplifies the process of editing, adding, or deleting information for your contacts.
Here are the steps to follow to edit information from the contact record:
Accessing the contact record: to begin, go to the record of the contact you wish to modify. You can access this record using the method described in the article Access my contacts’ records.
Modify the information : once you are on the contact’s record, locate the pencil-shaped icon at the top right, just above the contact information. Click this icon to enter edit mode.
Editing the main fields: the contact’s main information can be modified via different sections. Make the necessary adjustments to fields such as name, company, position, etc.
Access to other fields: to access less visible fields, such as secondary or custom fields, click on Main fields above the information sections, then select Secondary fields or Custom fields according to your needs.
Saving the changes: once you have made the desired changes, click Save to record the changes made to the contact’s record.
Access to the inbox: go to the Inbox using the sidebar located on the left.
Select the reply: locate and select the contact’s reply that you wish to modify. Click on this reply to open it.
Editing the information: as before, click on the pencil-shaped icon located at the top right of the reply. This action will allow you to edit the information of the contact linked to this reply.
Important notes: the primary and secondary fields correspond to native variables, while the custom fields are linked to the variables you have created. You can use these variables to personalize your sequences and better engage your contacts.
