Sarbacane Engage simplifies the process of deleting contacts, allowing you to manage your lists efficiently and keep your data up to date. You can delete contacts using different methods, whether from the general contacts view, the contact record, or even from the responses received.
Deletion from the general view
To begin, go to your Contacts page using the sidebar located on the left.
Select the contact or contacts you wish to delete by ticking the corresponding checkboxes.
Next, click on the three small dots located at the top right of the page, then select Delete.
A confirmation window will appear. Tick the box Confirm deletion of contacts and enter your initials corresponding to the first letters of your first name and last name specified in your profile settings. Finally, click Confirm.
Deletion from the contact record
To delete an individual contact, access its record by following the steps described in the article Access the record of my contacts.
On the right side of the contact record, click the trash can icon. Then confirm the deletion by clicking Confirm.
Deletion from contact responses
Go to the Inbox using the sidebar located on the left.
Select the response from the contact you wish to delete.
Click the trash can icon to delete the contact linked to this response. Then confirm the deletion.
Important points to note:
Deleting all contacts from a list also results in the deletion of the list itself.
Deletion rights vary depending on your role (User or Manager) in the application. Managers generally have more flexibility to delete contacts.
Deletion is irreversible. Once a contact has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. If this contact was involved in a sequence, it will be removed from it and will not receive the upcoming steps.
Deleting contacts in Sarbacane Engage allows you to keep your lists up to date and optimize your database.
