First of all, ensure that you have Manager status within Sarbacane Engage. Indeed, the possibility of creating new variables is not available to standard users. If you are in the User role, please consult our dedicated article on this topic for more details.
Once this verification has been carried out:
Access the Settings section at the top of the screen, then select the Variables tab
Click on the New variable button at the top of the page
A window appears. Assign a name to your variable (ensure that it is clear and logical so that you can easily find it again) and, if necessary, add a description to clarify its use.
Once the details have been entered, click the Confirm button at the bottom of the window.
Congratulations! Your custom variable is now created and ready to be used.
To view your new variable, go to the Defaults section at the top right of the screen, then select the Custom option.
