Before sending your sequence to your contacts, it is advisable to test its rendering by receiving the emails directly in your inbox. This feature allows you to assess how your sequence will appear to recipients.
Test procedure
Go to your Sequences via the left-hand sidebar.
Select the sequence you wish to test.
In the My sequence tab, click on Test sending at the top right.
You can define several test options:
Sender selection
Define the email address from which the sequence will be sent.
Choose from the email addresses synchronized with your accounts.
Test recipient
Specify the email address that will receive the test sequence.
Choose from the email addresses associated with your Sarbacane Engage accounts.
Substitution variables
Opt for the email address of one of your contacts.
The address defined previously will receive the sequence as if it were intended for this contact.
Click Next once all elements have been completed.
The test for sending a prospecting sequence in Sarbacane Engage allows you to preview the content of your emails before the official send. This step enables you to ensure that your messages will be properly formatted and that all personalization variables are working as expected.
