Hello everyone!
Strengthening the bond with our prospects, clients, and partners is important.
Here we'll see how to automate the sending of birthday messages. In this example, the recipients will be the members of my store network.
First, let's go to Contacts to make sure that our list contains the desired dates.
In the menu, I select "Contact List" and choose my list, where I confirm that the birthday dates are present.
Using targeting, I could create multiple segments based on language, but let's keep it simple and assume that all network members speak French. In this case, there's no need to create a specific target.
Then, I go to Sarbacane Campaigns, and from the homepage, I click on "Create".
Selecting "Automatic Campaign" automatically directs me to a list of triggers. I choose "date" and make sure of three essential things:
- That my contact list is the correct one.
- That the birthday column is correctly selected.
- That the format is the correct one for my list: a dropdown menu highlights the number of contacts found according to the format entered originally.
Next, I decide whether to send an email or an SMS. I opt for SMS.
Then, I can customize the SMS with the available data.
I activate the scenario, and that's it: every year, an SMS will be sent on the members' birthday!
Thank you for following this tutorial, and see you soon on Sarbacane Suite.
