Hello everyone!
If you have a domain name, it is necessary to register it to optimize the deliverability of your communications.
Using a domain name is like presenting a valid ID card during a check: it inspires trust! And this trust is needed by anti-spam filters to route your campaigns, especially if the number of recipients is substantial.
Linking your domain name is like signing your communications, and it also helps combat identity theft.
From your homepage, go to the Campaigns application and then to your account settings.
In "Domains," click on "Add a domain name" and then choose "Existing domain."
First, type the address of your subdomain. Typically, the prefix is "mail," "info," "news," or "office," and check its availability.
Next, a sequence of characters is generated. Copy it, then paste it into the space provided by your domain provider. Do the same for the DNS records provided on the next screen.
It may take up to 48 hours for the registration to be fully propagated.
Remember that for effective deliverability, a warm-up period of a few days is necessary, especially if your domain name is newly created.
For example, it would be useless and dangerous to address 50,000 recipients immediately. A gradual approach is strongly recommended.
To monitor the reputation of your domain, Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft offer tools that you can easily find via your search engine.
Thank you for following this tutorial, and see you soon on Sarbacane Suite!
