- From the general view of contacts, hover the mouse cursor over the line corresponding to the contact of interest. You then have two options:
- Click on the contact's email address (2).
- Or click on "View" (3) to open their detailed file.
Overview of the Contact File
The contact file in Sarbacane Engage presents various information and options to allow you to effectively manage your interactions with the contact.
Utility of the Contact File
From the contact's file, you primarily benefit from complete access to their activity log. This log records exchanges between you (or other users) and the contact, notifications of openings or clicks by the latter, etc. This information provides an overview of the contact's activities and allows you to assess their engagement:
Important Note: When a contact is created by a user with a synchronized email address, all emails exchanged since the creation of the contact between the user and the contact are visible in the contact's history. This information is also accessible to other users who have access to the contact's file. This functionality facilitates the contextualization and improvement of your interactions with the prospect. Therefore, it is advisable to be cautious when creating contacts to prevent personal exchanges from being visible to other users.
Tracking Activity in a Sequence:
Thanks to the contact file, it's easy to determine if the contact is active or inactive in a sequence. This is represented by a colored dot located at the top of the contact file:
A green dot indicates that the contact is active in at least one sequence.
A red dot means that the contact is inactive in all sequences.
Actions Available from the Contact File:
The contact file offers several practical actions you can undertake in relation to this contact, to optimize the management of your interactions and personalize your approaches:
