Personalization variables are a true asset for optimizing the performance of your prospecting sequences. Integrating these variables into your emails offers you the possibility to personalize, contextualize, and legitimize your contact attempts, thus strengthening the impact of your communications.
What is a personalization variable?
Definition
A personalization variable corresponds to an information field present in your contacts' profile. These fields can include elements such as the first name, last name, company, and many others. When setting up your emails within a prospecting sequence, you have the option to insert these variables. Once the email is sent, the variable will automatically be substituted by the actual value associated with the contact.
Concrete Example
Suppose the first name listed in your contact's profile is "Lucie".
In the first email of your sequence, you decide to insert the following text: "Hello {{first_name}}" (where {{first_name}} is a native variable corresponding to the First Name field in your contacts' profile).
When you add this contact to your sequence and they receive the first email, they will see the message "Hello Lucie".
Native variables and advanced personalization
By default, Sarbacane Engage offers you a set of native variables that correspond to the basic fields of your contacts (for example, "city" for the city, "company_name" for the company). However, you can create new custom variables according to your needs.
Adding these variables to your prospecting emails adds a personalized and relevant touch to your communications, thus enhancing the engagement and effectiveness of your sequences.
