Integrating LinkedIn connection requests, whether or not they are accompanied by a personalized message, can significantly improve the effectiveness of your prospecting. Follow the steps below to learn how to do this.
Step 1: Synchronize your LinkedIn account
The first step is to synchronize your LinkedIn account with the tool you use to manage your sequences. Here is how to proceed:
Log in to your LinkedIn account.
Open the Connect extension (if you have not already installed it, you can find instructions on how to install it here).
Click on the LinkedIn tab, then on Update my LinkedIn integration.
You should receive a confirmation message indicating that the connection between LinkedIn and Connect has been successfully established.
Step 2: Integrate LinkedIn connection requests into your sequences
Once your LinkedIn account has been synchronized, you can integrate connection requests into your sequences. Here is how to proceed:
Access your Sequences page via the left sidebar of your interface.
Select an existing sequence that you wish to use, or create a new one by following the steps described here.
From the My sequence tab, choose the sequence step to which you wish to add a LinkedIn connection request.
Click on LinkedIn, then select the Connect invitation option. By configuring this step in this way, your prospects will receive a LinkedIn invitation without a personalized message.
If you prefer to include a personalized message with your LinkedIn connection request, you can do so by inserting a message in the LinkedIn invitation step, then clicking on Save the sequence.
