The User Management dashboard in Sarbacane allows you to assign a role to each account member, group your teams to organize resource sharing, and cap email and SMS sending consumption for a group over a given period.
You must be the account owner or administrator. Standard users do not have access to this section.
Click on your avatar in the top right corner of the screen.
Open account settings.
Select User Management.
The dashboard centralizes the list of users, groups, and pending invitations.
Important: only account owners and administrators have access to this section.
Each account user receives one of the following three roles.
Owner : account creator. Full access and receipt of certain key account-related notifications.
Administrator : same level of access as the owner over resources (campaigns, contact lists, forms, landing pages), and can manage users.
Standard user : limited access to their scope. They cannot, for example, share a resource with other groups, manage tags, export statistics or contacts, or access API settings, except with explicit authorization from an administrator.
Note : the precise permissions of a standard user can be adjusted on a case-by-case basis by an administrator or the account owner.
Groups structure resource sharing between teams. Upon account creation, a default group already exists and contains all users.
To create a new group, open the Groups tab, then click Create a group.
From a group's context menu, click Manage to open two tabs: Users (add or transfer members) and Consumption (sending limits, see the following section).
Rename the group at any time if needed.
To delete a group, first transfer its members and resources to another group.
Two rules to know before organizing your groups: owners and administrators cannot be assigned to a group (they retain full access to all resources), and a standard user belongs to only one group at a time.
Note: a user transferred to a new group retains their existing rights and accesses the resources of that new group.
In User Management, open the context menu for the relevant group.
Select Manage, then the Consumption tab.
Enable the desired restriction (email, SMS, or both).
Set the quota on a monthly or annual basis.
Once the threshold is reached, no user in the group can send a campaign until the next period.
Best practice: this limitation applies only at the group level, never to an individual user, and owners and administrators cannot be subject to it. To restrict a single user, revoke their sending rights individually instead.
I cannot see the User Management section: verify your role. It is only visible to account owners and administrators.
I cannot delete a group: first transfer its members and resources to another group.
A user cannot join a second group: a standard user belongs to only one group at a time. Transfer them to the new group instead.
A group can no longer send campaigns: the email or SMS credit quota has been reached. Wait for the next period or adjust the quota from the Consumption tab.
