In Sarbacane Campaigns, configuring tracking preferences allows you to choose the method used to collect consent from a recipient when they wish to disable tracking of their interactions (opens and clicks). Configuration is performed in Settings > Campaigns under the Tracking Preferences section.
Note: this setting contributes to compliance with CNIL recommendations applicable from July 2026 concerning the tracking pixel.
Prerequisites
Have access to the Sarbacane Campaigns application.
Access the setting and choose a tracking method
In Sarbacane Campaigns, go to Settings > Campaigns.
Go to the Pixel Tracking Preferences section.
Under Method Selection, select one of the two options:
Standard Page: the recipient who clicks on the tracking management link is redirected directly to a confirmation page informing them that their interactions will no longer be measured.
Redirect: the recipient is redirected to a form of your design allowing them to choose their tracking preferences, then to the confirmation page of your choice after validation.
If you choose Redirect, enter the URL of your choice in the Link field
Save the changes.

What you should see
The selected method appears framed in green. The chosen tracking parameters are automatically associated with the campaign when it is sent to the routing platform.
Important: changes to tracking preferences are not retroactive. They do not affect campaigns already sent, active automated scenarios, scheduled sends in progress, or A/B tests whose decision is being calculated.
