In Sarbacane, you can bulk import tracking pixel consent (spy pixel) for your contacts when importing your lists. There is no need to modify each record individually: map the column from your file to the default field optinPixel during the column mapping step.
Before starting the import:
Have a contacts file (CSV format, semicolon separator) containing a column dedicated to tracking pixel consent (values "Active" / "Inactive" or equivalent).
Have access to the Sarbacane Contacts application.
Note : the CNIL requires collecting the consent of recipients before placing a tracking pixel in emails. In Sarbacane, this consent is managed via two fields:
-> "Email pixel tracking consent" = Active / Inactive
-> "Pixel tracking consent date" = Date of agreement
Import consent when importing a list
In Sarbacane, from the "Contacts" application, launch the usual import procedure for your contact list.
Select and download your contact file.
At the column mapping step, match your consent column with the default field Pixel proposed by Sarbacane.
Validate and complete the import.
Note: Pixel fields are available by default in the matching selector, just like standard fields such as name or email address.
Important: The consent date must be included in your CSV file to validate that the contact approves tracking. If the date is empty, the contact is considered "Inactive" for tracking.
The import completes and the created or updated contacts directly integrate their consent status and the import date is automatically associated in the field.
