Sarbacane offers three roles: Owner, Administrator and User. Each person's role determines which features they can access and which resources they see (campaigns, lists, forms, landing pages). The Owner role goes by default to the person who created the account.
The Owner has the same rights as an Administrator. However, some account information is sent only to their email address.
By default, an Administrator has access to the resources created by all users of the account:
Sarbacane Campaigns: campaigns, statistics and templates;
Contacts: lists;
Sarbacane Forms: forms;
Sarbacane Pages: landing pages.
By default, a User has access to the resources authorized for their group. They cannot:
manage the account: share a resource with a group, manage tags, export contacts, export statistics, manage API access;
in Sarbacane Campaigns: transfer templates, send campaigns (automatic or not, email or SMS), send a test;
in Sarbacane Forms and Sarbacane Pages: manage publication;
in Sarbacane Sendkit: manage API keys.
Important: an Administrator can grant each of these rights individually to a User, in the Authorizations tab of their profile.
Be the owner or an administrator of the account.
At the top right of the screen, click your avatar.
In the left menu, click Manage users. The Users tab opens: each person's role is shown under their avatar.
At the bottom of the user's card, click Manage.
In the Profile tab, choose Administrator or User in the Profile list.
To grant a specific right to a User, open the Authorizations tab, then turn on the matching switch (for example Export contacts in the Account management block).
At the bottom of the page, click Apply my selection.
Note: the Profile list only offers Administrator and User. To change the Owner, see How do you change the owner of your Sarbacane account?
The new role is shown under the user's avatar, in the Users tab.
Note: Sarbacane Chat has its own role management, in the application settings.
Your role is User. Only the Owner and Administrators can view or change roles.
By default, all resources are shared with all users. The Owner or an Administrator can restrict this sharing: see How to manage the sharing of a resource in Sarbacane?
