Sarbacane offers three user roles: Owner, Administrator, and User. The role assigned to each user in the account settings determines which features they can access and how resources are shared (campaigns, lists, forms, pages).
Note: the owner role is assigned by default to the person who created the Sarbacane account.
To access user management, you must have the Owner or Administrator role.
In Sarbacane, click on your avatar, in the top right corner of the screen.
In the Account section on the left menu, select User management.
What you should see: the list of account users is displayed, with the role assigned to each one.
Note: Sarbacane Chat has its own role management, accessible directly in the application settings.
If this section is missing from the Account section, your account has the User role: you do not have the required rights to access it. Only an Owner or an Administrator can view or modify account roles.
The Owner has the same rights as an Administrator. However, certain account information is sent only to their email address.
By default, an Administrator has access to resources created by all users in the account:
Sarbacane Campaigns: campaigns, statistics and templates.
Sarbacane Contacts: lists.
Sarbacane Forms: forms.
Sarbacane Pages: landing pages.
By default, a user has access to resources authorized for the group they belong to (campaigns, statistics and templates in Sarbacane Campaigns, lists in Sarbacane Contacts, forms in Sarbacane Forms, landing pages in Sarbacane Pages).
A user cannot:
manage the account: share a resource with a group, manage tags, export statistics, export contacts, manage API access;
in Sarbacane Campaigns: transfer templates, send automated email or SMS campaigns, send email or SMS campaigns, send a test email or SMS;
in Sarbacane Forms: manage publication;
in Sarbacane Pages: manage publication;
in Sendkit: manage API keys.
Important: an Administrator can grant each of these rights individually to a User from the rights management.
By default, resources (campaigns, lists, forms, landing pages) are shared with all groups and users. An administrator or owner can restrict or grant this sharing. A user cannot hide a resource from an administrator or the owner.
Go to the action menu of the resource you wish to manage, via the three dots located next to its name.
Click on Manage sharing.
Uncheck the groups or users who should not have access to the resource.

You will also be able to select by group which users will have access to the resource.
Note: This setting can be applied to lists, campaigns, forms, pages, etc.
