How can I add users to my Sarbacane account?
This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software: Sarbacane Suite. If you are a user of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, you can find here the help center related to this version of the software. The update of your account to switch to Sarbacane Suite will be proposed to you shortly by our teams.
Sharing your account with other users allows you to collaborate with multiple users in the same workspace and share your resources (campaigns, lists, templates, forms, landing pages, etc.) with whomever you choose. You can also set a sending limit for certain users and assign specific permissions to each of them.
Do you want to add additional users to your Sarbacane account?
You must be an administrator or owner of the account to add new users and manage existing users.
Go to the 'Management users' menu in your account settings.
In the 'Users' tab of this menu, you can invite one or more users to share access to your account by clicking the 'Invite' button.
You can invite as many users as you like to your account. However, please note that for an invited user to have access to Sarbacane Suite applications, you must have a license for the application(s) you want them to use. If you do not have an available license, you will need to purchase a license for the relevant application(s) in order to assign it to your new invited user.
Inviting a new user is done in 3 steps:
- Tab 'Group': This first tab allows you to specify to which group the user should be assigned.
- Tab 'Profile': This second tab allows you to enter the user's personal information (name, first name, email address) and assign them the role you desire (Account Administrator or Regular User).
- Tab 'Licenses': This last tab enables you to assign one or more licenses to the user. If you do not assign any licenses, the invited user will only be able to log in to your account but will not have access to any applications.
Click 'Send Invitation'. A new user profile is created with a 'Pending' status until the user accepts the invitation.
When the invitation displays a 'Pending' status, the account owner or administrators can:
- Resend a new invitation if the new user did not receive the initial invitation or to remind them to accept it.
- Cancel the ongoing invitation if you no longer wish to grant access to this user to your workspace.
Accepting a Sarbacane Invitation
The invited user will receive an invitation email. It is necessary for them to click on 'Accept Invitation' to confirm their invitation.
Upon the first login, they will be prompted to create their password.
They can then log in using their email address and this password and access the shared account without having to create a separate account.
The account owner and administrators retain the ability to delete a user, regardless of their role (administrator or regular user).
Once a new user is added, the account owner and administrators can modify their role, as well as assign or unassign product licenses and grant them specific permissions
