Sarbacane Engage: Introduction to the prospecting blacklist

This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software, Sarbacane Suite. Users of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, can find here the help center associated with that version of the software.
In the Sarbacane Engage app, you can use the blacklist feature to manage the email addresses and domain names you want to exclude from your prospecting campaigns.
What is the purpose of the Sarbacane Engage blacklist?
This blacklist allows you to specify the contacts with whom you do not wish to communicate or whom you no longer wish to contact. Thus, these contacts will not be included in your prospecting sequences, even in case of accidental addition to your Sarbacane Engage contact lists.
It is important to note that the Engage app has only one blacklist, and this blacklist is independent of the one managed via the "Contacts" app of Sarbacane Suite, meaning that contacts added to the blacklist in Engage will not be added to the blacklist(s) of Sarbacane Contacts.
How to access the Sarbacane Engage blacklist?
To access the Sarbacane Engage Blacklist, go to the homepage of the Engage app. In the left sidebar menu, click on the settings symbol (gear wheel), then on "Blacklist" in the "Settings" section.
