I have several users linked to my account. How do I switch to the Suite?
This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software: Sarbacane Suite. If you are a user of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, you can find here the help center related to this version of the software. The update of your account to switch to Sarbacane Suite will be proposed to you shortly by our teams.
If you have users linked to your Sarbacane Sunrise account, here's what you need to do about upgrading your account to Sarbacane Suite.
Who can decide to switch to Sarbacane Suite?
Only the owner of an account can request a switch to the Suite. As a reminder, there is only one owner per account.
For Sunrise users and administrators who have guest access to one or more accounts, the update will be launched by the account owner. No action is required on the part of a guest user or administrator.
User roles and rights will be maintained in Sarbacane Suite?
Once the update has been carried out, the roles and rights of your users/administrators will be maintained in Sarbacane Suite.
How will users invited to my account be able to log in?
Users will simply need to log in with their usual login and password, and then as usual choose the account they wish to access (either their personal account, or the account(s) under which they are invited) via the drop-down menu at their disposal.
If they select an account that has been switched to the Suite, they will then access the Sarbacane Suite interface.
If they select an account that has not been switched, they will access the Sarbacane Sunrise interface.
Will users/administrators invited to my account be notified of the switchover to Sarbacane Suite?
Users / administrators invited to an account will not be notified by e-mail of the actual switchover to Sarbacane Suite for the shared account. However, they will be offered a tour of the product when they log in for the first time after the account has been updated.
On the other hand, if they switch their own personal account (which they own), they will of course be notified when the account update is complete. Note, however, that users invited to an account do not necessarily need to update their own individual account (the one linked to their own email address) in order to access the updated shared account.
What are the major differences in user and invitation management?
Invited users no longer need to create their own account
A major difference between Sarbacane Sunrise and Sarbacane Suite is that users will no longer have to create a free account first in order to access an account to which they are invited.
So when a user receives an invitation to join an account, and that user doesn't already have a Sarbacane account, they'll just need to create a password to access the inviting account.
If the user already has a Sarbacane account, he'll just need to enter his usual login and password, then select the inviting account.
The new licensing system
Sarbacane Suite operates on a license system. A license gives a user access to all the functionalities of a Sarbacane Suite application.
Each license is priced per user, per month if you choose the monthly subscription or per year if you choose the annual subscription.
If you purchase a multi-product license or a Suite license (which unlocks access to each application in the Suite), you can assign each license to the user of your choice.
For example, if you purchase a Suite license, you will have one license per application. You are free to assign the Campaigns and Contacts licenses to one user, and the Chat license to another.
Another example: if you want 2 of your users to be able to access the Sarbacane Campaigns application simultaneously, you'll need to buy 2 Campaigns licenses and allocate one license to each user concerned.
What happens to my users and my subscription when I switch to Sarbacane Suite?
When you update your account to Sarbacane Suite, you (the account owner) and all the users of your account (whether administrators or simple users) will benefit from a Full Suite license free of charge until your subscription renewal date.
At your renewal date, you can either renew your subscription with the full Sarbacane Suite at the corresponding price for all the users in your account, or opt for a set of licenses corresponding to the functional scope you use on Sarbacane Sunrise. You are then free to decide the number and type of licenses you keep, and to whom you wish to allocate them.
As a reminder, a license is valid for a single user.
