In Sarbacane Campaigns, what you can edit depends on the status of the SMS campaign. A campaign that has not yet been sent can be edited directly. A scheduled campaign can be edited after canceling the send, up to 30 minutes before the scheduled time. A campaign that has already been sent can no longer be edited: duplicate it to create an editable version.
A Sarbacane Campaigns license.
Access to the campaign you want to edit.
In Sarbacane Campaigns, open My campaigns.
At the top left of the screen, in the filters, select SMS.
Click the campaign thumbnail to open it.
Edit whatever you need: name, settings (tags and sharing), message content, recipients.
Important: you can cancel the send up to 30 minutes before the scheduled time. After that, contact customer service to have them cancel the send for you.
In My campaigns, find the scheduled campaign.
On the campaign thumbnail, click the three dots, then click Cancel send.
Edit the campaign: name, settings, content, or recipients.
Schedule the send again.
In My campaigns, find the sent campaign.
On the campaign tile, click the three dots, then Duplicate.
Edit the copy as you would a campaign that hasn't been sent yet. Review the entire message: the copy retains the original link, personalization fields, and content, which may no longer be appropriate for your new send.
Note: to send the same message to people who didn't receive it, there's no need to duplicate the campaign. On the sent campaign tile, click the three dots, then New recipients: the message is sent only to the recipients you add.
Unsent campaign: your changes are saved.
Scheduled campaign: the campaign is sent with your changes at the new scheduled date.
Sent campaign: an editable copy appears in My campaigns.
The send is scheduled in less than 30 minutes. Contact customer support to have them cancel it for you.
A text message that has already been sent cannot be canceled or modified. To send a corrected message to the same people, relaunch the campaign by selecting the Received, not unsubscribed segment, then edit the message. This resend uses credits just like a new send.
