In Sarbacane Campaigns, what you can modify depends on the status of the SMS campaign. A campaign that has not yet been sent can be modified directly. A scheduled campaign can be modified after canceling the send, up to 30 minutes before the scheduled time. A campaign that has already been sent can no longer be modified: duplicate it to create an editable version.
A Sarbacane Campaigns license.
Access to the campaign you want to modify.
In Sarbacane Campaigns, open My campaigns.
At the top left of the screen, in the filters, select SMS.
Click the campaign thumbnail to open it.
Make any changes you need: name, settings (tags and sharing), message content, recipients.
Important : you can cancel the send up to 30 minutes before the scheduled time. After that, contact customer support to have them cancel the send for you.
Under My campaigns, find the scheduled campaign.
On the campaign thumbnail, click the three dots, then click Cancel send.
Modify the campaign: name, settings, content, or recipients.
Schedule the send again.
In My campaigns, find the campaign that was sent.
On the campaign tile, click the three dots, then click Duplicate.
Edit the copy as you would a campaign that hasn't been sent yet. Review the entire message: the copy retains the original link, personalization fields, and content, which may no longer be suitable for your new send.
Note: to send the same message to people who didn't receive it, there's no need to duplicate it. On the tile for the sent campaign, click the three dots, then click New recipients: the message will be sent only to the recipients you add.
Unsent campaign: your changes are saved.
Scheduled campaign: the campaign will be sent with your changes at the newly scheduled date.
Sent campaign: an editable copy appears in My campaigns.
The send is scheduled in less than 30 minutes. Contact customer support to cancel it for you.
A text message that has already been sent cannot be canceled or edited. To send a corrected message to the same people, relaunch the campaign and choose the To recipients who haven't unsubscribed segment, then edit the message. This follow-up uses credits like a new send.
