Sarbacane Engage: How to modify a contact’s information?
This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software: Sarbacane Suite. Sarbacane Engage allows you to keep your contact information up to date and make modifications when necessary. Whether from a contact's file or from your received responses, this tool simplifies the process of editing, adding, or deleting information for your contacts.
Editing from the contact file
Here are the steps to edit information from the contact file:
- Access to the contact file: To start, go to the file of the contact you wish to modify. You can access this file using the method described in the article "Accessing my contacts' files".
- Modifying information: Once on the contact's file, locate the pencil icon located at the top right, just above the contact's information. Click on this icon to enter edit mode.
- Modifying main fields: The main information of the contact can be modified through different frames. Make the necessary adjustments to fields such as name, company, position, etc.
- Accessing other fields: To access less visible fields, such as secondary or custom fields, click on "Main Fields" above the information frames, then select "Secondary Fields" or "Custom Fields" as needed.
- Saving changes: Once you have made the desired modifications, click on "Save" to record the changes made to the contact's file.
Editing from contact responses
- Access to the inbox: Go to the "Inbox" using the left sidebar.
- Select the response: Locate and select the response of the contact you wish to modify. Click on this response to open it.
- Modifying information: As before, click on the pencil icon located at the top right of the response. This action will allow you to edit the information of the contact linked to this response.
Important notes: The main and secondary fields correspond to native variables, while custom fields are linked to variables that you have created. You can use these variables to customize your sequences and better engage your contacts.
Modifying contact information in Sarbacane Engage allows you to keep your data up to date and adjust your interactions accordingly. By following these simple steps, you can easily edit and manage the important details of your contacts to optimize your prospecting and communication activities.
