Sarbacane Engage: How to test sending a prospecting sequence?

This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software, Sarbacane Suite. Users of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, can find here the help center associated with that version of the software.
Before distributing your sequence to contacts, it is wise to test its rendering by receiving the emails directly in your inbox. This feature allows you to appreciate how your sequence will appear to recipients.
Testing Procedure
- Access your Sequences via the left sidebar.
- Choose the sequence you wish to test.
- In the "My sequence" tab, click on "Test Send" at the top right.
- You can determine several testing options:
- Sender Selection
- Define the email address from which the sequence will be sent.
- Choose from email addresses synchronized with your accounts.
- Test Recipient
- Specify the email address that will receive the test sequence.
- Choose from email addresses associated with your Sarbacane Engage accounts.
- Replacement Variables
- Opt for the email address of one of your contacts.
- The previously defined address will receive the sequence as if it were intended for that contact.
- Sender Selection
- Click on "Next" once all elements are filled in.
Testing the sending of a prospecting sequence in Sarbacane Engage allows you to preview the content of your emails before the official send. This step ensures that your messages will be well-formatted and all personalization variables work as expected.
