Sarbacane Engage: How to create a personalization variable?

This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software: Sarbacane Suite. If you are a user of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, you can find here the help center related to this version of the software. The update of your account to switch to Sarbacane Suite will be proposed to you shortly by our teams.
First and foremost, make sure you have the status of Manager within Sarbacane Engage. Indeed, the ability to create new variables is not accessible to regular users. If you are in the User role, please refer to our dedicated article on this topic for more details.
Once this check is done:
- Go to the Settings section at the top of the screen, then select the Variables tab.
- Click on the New variable button at the top of the page.
- A window appears. Assign a name to your variable (ensure it is clear and logical so you can easily find it) and, if necessary, add a description to clarify its use.
- Once the details are filled in, press the Validate button located at the bottom of the window.
Congratulations! Your custom variable is now created and ready to be used.
To view your new variable, head to the Defaults section at the top right of the screen, then select the Custom option.
You can now enhance the personalization of your prospecting sequences on Sarbacane Engage by adding your own variables.
