Sarbacane Engage: How to create contacts from LinkedIn via Connect?

The Sarbacane Engage Chrome Connect extension allows you to simplify the process of creating new contacts from your prospects' LinkedIn profiles. Follow these steps to quickly add contacts to your list.

Creating Contacts from LinkedIn

To create a contact from a LinkedIn profile:

• Log in to LinkedIn and go to the prospect's profile.
• Open the Connect extension (see our guide on installing Connect) and log in.
• In the "Contact" tab of Connect, select the "New" tab.

Automatically Generated Information

The following information will be automatically generated:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Company
• Domain
• Email
• Role

You have the option to manually edit this information if necessary, especially to eliminate any clutter (such as emojis or excessively long company names). The email address generation algorithm is based on the first name, last name, and company to create a professional email address.

Reliability of information

The generated domains and emails are associated with a reliability percentage. A high percentage indicates a greater likelihood of validity. Under the generated domains and emails, other possible suggestions may be offered, but the automatic suggestions are those with the highest score and therefore the most reliable.

Assigning to a list

Select the list in which you wish to add the new contact from the "List" frame at the top.

Adding Additional Information

You can enrich the contact's information by clicking on the funnel icon at the top right of Connect. This action allows you to enter other native and custom variables you might have created. Click on the funnel to access all the options and complete the details for the new contact.

Finalizing creation

Click on the blue "Create Contact" button at the bottom to finalize the creation of the contact. A success message will confirm the contact's creation in the selected list.

Option to Create upon Engagement

By selecting "Create and Engage," you can not only create the contact but also add it directly to a sequence. For more information on this feature, refer to our detailed guide.

Manual Creation of a Contact

If you are not on a LinkedIn profile, you can still create a contact by manually entering the information (First Name, Last Name, and Company). The algorithm will automatically generate the associated professional email address.

Saved Searches on LinkedIn Sales Navigator

If your saved searches on LinkedIn Sales Navigator identify new prospects, you will receive a notification. You can then create them in Sarbacane Engage or add them to your sequences via the Connect extension.
