Sarbacane Engage: How to manually create a contact?

Sarbacane Engage greatly facilitates the creation and management of your contacts. You can add new contacts manually, from an external file, from LinkedIn, or by syncing information from other sources. Here's how to do it.

Steps to Create New Contacts

Here's how to manually create a contact step by step:

• To start, go to the "Contacts" page using the sidebar on the left side of the screen.
• Click on "New Contact"
• At the top right of the "Contacts" page, locate the "New contact" button and click on it.
• Select the Creation Method:
• A window will appear with several options, including:
  • Manual entry
  • External file
  • LinkindIn
  • Synchronization

For manual creation, choose the "Manual entry" option by clicking "Select" on the corresponding tile.

• Fill in Basic Information
• A new window will open. First, fill in the email address, which is a mandatory field. If necessary, add other basic fields. To access secondary and customized fields, click on "More fields" at the bottom of the window.
• Finalize the Creation
• Once all the information has been entered, click on "Validate". Your new contact will be saved in Sarbacane Engage.

Practical tip: If you receive a reply from a contact containing the email address of the person to contact within the company, it is recommended to manually create a new contact using the provided email address. You can then add this new contact to the initial sequence to ensure proper follow-up.
