How do I manage my license(s) if I have multiple users?

This help center is dedicated to the new version of our software: Sarbacane Suite. If you are a user of the previous version, Sarbacane Sunrise, you can find here the help center related to this version of the software. The update of your account to switch to Sarbacane Suite will be proposed to you shortly by our teams.

If you had multiple users on Sarbacane Sunrise, here is everything you need to know to best manage the allocation of licenses.

How does the new licensing system work?

What changes in comparison to Sarbacane Sunrise is that Sarbacane now operates with a licensing system to be assigned to a user.

The licensing system indeed allows linking a user to the operation of Sarbacane's applications and services. Thus, the account administrator can assign and/or withdraw one or more product licenses to a user, depending on their need or role.

The user can then log in with their credentials to benefit from access to Sarbacane applications and services.

What are the different types of licenses available?

The “Suite” license is a bundled offer that gives access to all the applications of the Sarbacane Suite:

  • Campaigns
  • Sendkit
  • Pages
  • Forms
  • Engage
  • Chat
  • Contacts

The Suite license thus unlocks a license per application. You can also buy a la carte licenses for one or more applications of the Suite.

The administrator is free either to assign the available licenses to a single user or to distribute the licenses among different users of an account.

Will licenses be automatically assigned to my users when switching to Sarbacane Suite?

At the time of the switch to the Suite, you and all the users invited to your account will have free access to all Sarbacane Suite applications until the renewal date of your subscription.

Upon the renewal of our subscription, you will have the option to choose between renewing your subscription with the full Sarbacane Suite at the corresponding rate, or opting for a set of licenses corresponding to the functional scope you use on Sarbacane Sunrise.

It is at this point that you will determine which user should have access to which application and then decide on the number and type of licenses you need.

Can one log into Sarbacane applications on multiple computers?

You cannot log into your account with the same credentials on multiple computers simultaneously. Each user must have their own credentials to be able to log in simultaneously to the same account, and each user must have their own licenses to use the applications of the Sarbacane Suite.

Are Sarbacane license rates per user or per company?

Once your account has switched to Sarbacane Suite, a complete Suite license giving access to all applications is offered to each user of your account until the renewal date of your subscription.

It is at your renewal date that you will determine which user should have access to which application and then decide on the number and type of licenses you need.

The rates for each license are indicated per user, and are understood per month if you choose the monthly subscription or per year if you opt for the annual subscription. However, if you purchase a combined license for several products (for example, a complete Suite license which actually gives you a credit of licenses to assign per application), you can assign each license to the user of your choice.

How to assign a license to a new user?

First, you must have invited the user to your account to whom you wish to assign a license. Next, check the availability of licenses in the “Product License Management” section of your account settings. You will see for each product whether the number of licenses purchased has been used or if there are licenses available.

If there is at least one license available for the desired product, then click on the “Assign a License” button and select the user(s) to whom you wish to assign the license.

You can also assign licenses to users from the “Manage Users” section. Select the concerned user to open the details of their profile. Go to the “Licenses” tab and assign the desired license(s) by checking the box on the line of the concerned product(s).

If all licenses have already been assigned, you can purchase an additional license for the module(s) of your choice by clicking on the “Purchase a license” button from the “Product License Management” section in your account settings.
